About the program
The Oregon Convention Center (OCC) is dedicated to creating spaces where diversity, equity, access, and inclusion thrive. Through our Racial Equity Action Plan, we’re committed to breaking down the barriers that many community businesses and organizations, especially those from marginalized and disenfranchised communities, face when booking events in our region.
In January 2025, the OCC’s Space to Grow Fund program is opening a funding opportunity to increase local event hosts’ utilization of our event facilities and services.
The Space to Grow Fund is designed to build relationships with local communities to gather and grow using OCC's world-class event spaces—spaces that might otherwise be out of reach. This is more than just offering a venue; it’s about supporting your organization in hosting powerful, mission-driven events that bring people together, elevate your work, and help you make a lasting impact in the community.
If you're looking to host an event to create meaningful community impact, this program is here to help make that vision a reality.
